Not too long ago, the Royal Palace of Madrid was the official residence of Spanish monarchs who lived and succeeded each other in the spacious halls of this ancient architectural complex. Today, the royal family prefers more modern apartments, while the palace continues to host ambassadorial awards ceremonies, audiences, and grand national celebrations.
The "exterior" of the building is done in the late Baroque style, characterized by pilasters, columns, and massive stone arches. The main entrance to the Royal Palace is adorned with a coat of arms, elegant sculptures, and tower-type clocks. The most notable sculptural composition in the entire complex is considered to be the "Triumph of Spain" monument, located on the south façade. The palace is open to tourists year-round, except on days of official ceremonies.

Vista linda!!
