About

The City Hall, with its ancient 65-meter tower, is located in the very "heart" of the Market Square. By purchasing a ticket and conquering 408 steps up the winding staircase, anyone can ascend to a special observation deck that offers a mesmerizing panorama of the entire city of Lviv. Beyond the unforgettable view, tourists are drawn to the clock on the tower, which has been running for more than 160 years, earning it the title of the oldest in Ukraine.

The Lviv Town Hall is a part of the city council building and, of course, one of the main tourist attractions in the city. The first town hall, built in 1381, was destroyed in a fire. The modern building with its tower and an internal courtyard, showcasing Vienna Classicism, was constructed in 1835. The entrance to the city hall is securely "guarded" by two lions - the main symbols of the ancient city.
