After having visited various Fado restaurants in Lisbon but also Coimbra I can say the following: It is definitely the chicest place with the most ambitious kitchen which I enjoyed because mostly food is more mediocre at these places. You also have space between tables - normally it is just packed with people. The performance though is a bit mixed: 3 songs between courses and no room to develop atmosphere which often is the case. Also some more context to the songs, which also happens often, could have been helpful for those who don’t speak the language. Generally though I liked this fresh approach and can highly recommend.

We went there to see Fado. If you don't eat, they charge 20€ to enjoy the show and it was really nice.
