While I would definitely not call this a tourist trap, it was mostly tourists the night we went. It is significantly more expensive than other "non-tourist" spots, and while service was up and down, they definitely tried to upsell from the minute we sat down. The steak was a phenomenal and cooked perfectly. The two pastas were great, but the sea bass was kind of standard. Service was spotty. It took them 15 minutes to come to our table after we sat down, then when they did, the first communication was an apology for the delay and an offer to sell us a bottle of Vueve Clique. Similarly, it often took an extended period to get out drinks. Service was a strong 3.5. Regarding the tourist comment, there was a suggested tip of 10%, which is not customary in Portugal. We always tip, because it is obviously always appreciated, but I'm not used to being asked to tip in Portugal. It felt expected. Billl was 500 Euro+ for 4 ppl (2 bottles of 80 Euro wine), and two glasses of wine. Expensive. Worth it? Not sure, but probably not.

By far best restaurant in town. Service definitely could be a bit more attentive. Food and drinks and atmosphere were fantastic though
