Robią absolutnie przepyszną polvo à lagareiro (grillowaną ośmiornicę w oliwie, czosnku i kolendrze z ziemniaczkami w mundurkach), a jeśli ktoś nie lubi ośmiornicy, dostępna jest także wersja z wszechobecnym w Portugalii dorszem (bacalhau).
