Edit: lost a star because they refuse to get a booking system, they never answer the phone, and while you are in the restaurant you have to deal with the annoyance of the door because they refuse to get a booking system or put a sign on the door to say they are booked out.

This is the best and most flavourful food we had in Lisbon, the staff is incredibly friendly, very accommodating and pleasant. The atmosphere is amazing as well. You have to try this food if you are in Lisbon if you can get a reservation.

This restaurant (not sure why Google thinks it’s a hotel) was a phenomenal find! Tucked away from the main drag, it’s got a small footprint but we were so glad to find it. The service was a delight, with personable family staff (who I overheard speaking several different languages) with a clear passion for their restaurant. Above all else the food was creative and delicious! Truly something special, with interesting flavor pairings that hit the spot and had us all happily full. A curated seasonal menu had some excellent options like scallops served in the yummiest way I’ve ever had them, and a dish with beef cheek and a polenta-esque side. The drinks and mocktails were wonderful as well. Everything would’ve easily fetched 2-3x the price in the US. Staff was also really great with kids, so it’s a good spot for families. Couldn’t be happier that we ate here! Recommend calling ahead to reserve a table since it’s a small space.
