Apesar de considerar Portugal adequadamente vegetarian-friendly (muitos doces cuja base é leite e ovo, restaurantes estrangeiros como italianos ou asiáticos com boas opções, restaurantes dirigidos a turistas e mesmo opções pré-feitas nos supermercados), no entanto, não há pratos principais portugueses (à excepção do bacalhau à Brás) que sejam vegetarianos, muito menos vegan. A base da culinária portuguesa é à base de carne, peixe e marisco. Apesar de que para quem é português conseguir nas próprias casas fazer muitas receitas portuguesas por conseguir adaptar e conhecer as receitas, não o é para quem vem visitar o país ou estudar ou visitar algum amigo. É ótimo poder recomendar-lhes este restaurante e levá-los aqui. Mesmo fazendo em casa, não ficam bem bem iguais ;) Recomendo vivamente os croquetes como entrada. Conceito maravilhoso!
