I cannot recommend this place enough! The food was absolute perfection, the atmosphere was cosy, the staff were friendly and welcoming... All of which made for a lovely experience. We’re looking forward to coming back when we’re next in the area. Outstanding!

Burger Wednesday is quite possibly my new favourite day 🥳. The food was incredible, cooked fresh to order. The staff are super friendly & attentive. It was quite busy while we were there and without skipping a beat, we were presented with a sample of their tomato and red pepper soup in an espresso cup. CUTE!! A very nice gesture but honestly, when you get presented with a beautifully cooked main meal, the small wait was totally worth it anyway. Also, the dessert menu… I wish I could have had one of everything but the strawberry mouse cake was dreamy 😍. 100% recommend.

I have been meaning to write this review for a while! The experience we had at The Jack in the Green was amazing. The staff were so attentive, so kind & thoughtful. The food was absolutely delicious & beautifully presented. And some additional kind touches made celebrating our wedding anniversary special despite having a family tragedy to deal with. Thank you to all the staff on June the 3rd for making it such a lovely evening.
