Great location but a bit of a walk from nearest parking. Fantastic garden with views across the river Exe and canal. Very good area for wildlife. Their are good and substantial meals with a fast service. There is a good range of local beers and ciders.

Not been here for a while. But loved it when we called in the other weekend. Wasn't too busy and staff.ate.always friendly. Beautiful location and ideal when out for a cycle ride.

I have been a regular at the Turf for 40 + years. Now living in New York USA, we recently had a wedding party for our daughter and her new husband along with our US and UK friends. The entire experience was wonderful, the food was excellent, the staff led by Kate were so attentive and friendly, the marquee looked wonderful and it was a magical experience. Also Rupert the chef and his lovely wife worked so hard, best fish and chips we have had in years! Also Jen who is the manager was great to work with, thank you all! Jon and Marci - New York
