A real gem in the centre of Topsham. I had my daughters 2nd birthday party at Nook and I cannot recommend it enough. Pip was wonderful, excellent communication and so helpful and accommodating to my daughters allergies. The cafe itself is warm, homely and beautifully decorated. The children loved the toys and the quirky play areas and the grown ups loved the coffee (It is very, very good) and the tasty cakes (The almond croissant is highly recommended) An overall 10/10 experience, definitely worth a visit. Thankyou Pip, we will definitely see you again soon!

What a fantastic find!! Step through the gorgeous toy shop and into Nook, a wonderful child-centred friendly and gorgeous play cafe! It’s done beautifully, really pleasing decor thats sophisticated while being so much fun. Everything has been carefully considered - from the menus with healthy good food for little ones and plenty for grown ups too. The selection of caffeine alternative drinks such as beetroot lattes and chocolate mint drinks was fantastic! The cakes looked great, a few vegan options. The cafe has plenty of little ‘nooks’ for the children to play in and plenty to encourage their imaginative play. There’s tonnes of toys for under 5s - babies included. My 5 month old loved it. I can’t remember the name of the lovely woman who owns Nook but she was very welcoming and friendly and brought my little one some toys suitable to his age. There is baby changing facilities with some nappies and essentials if needed. I saw that they do parties too which I will consider when my child is older. People without children also came in and seemed to enjoy it. My drink was absolutely lovely! Everything felt very clean.

We love going to Nook - an absolute must visit in Topsham! A cosy, vibrant family-friendly cafe where you can take little ones and meet other likeminded parents / carers, in the community. We feel so lucky to have Nook on our doorstep! It is very welcoming and inviting there. My son and daughter love exploring the reading area and playhouse. They very much treat Nook like their own home and have enjoyed eating the children bites on the menu. There are great options for those who are weaning, too! A lot of hard work and love has gone into making Nook. It’s my favourite time of day where I get to relax and enjoy Pip’s delicious homemade cakes (banana bread being my current favourite!) and delightful coffees. Bliss! Thank you, Nook x
