Tolle Location am Wasser in Berlin

A Hidden Urban Oasis — Rummelsburger Bucht Tucked away in Berlin’s east, Rummelsburger Bucht was one of the most surprising and refreshing discoveries on my trip. I went there on a sunny morning , unsure of what to expect — and left feeling recharged and inspired. The bay offers a peaceful contrast to the busy pace of Berlin. The walking and biking paths along the waterfront are perfect for slow exploration. I took a long stroll under tree-lined paths, passing by charming houseboats, community gardens, and people relaxing on the grass. The vibe was local, laid-back, and genuinely authentic. There’s a small dock where people rent kayaks and SUP boards, framed by the skyline of Berlin in the distance. I didn’t rent anything this time, but it’s definitely on my list for the next visit. The place feels lived-in and loved. If you’re looking for a break from the crowds and want to experience a different side of Berlin — quieter, greener, and beautifully human — Rummelsburger Bucht is a must. Bring a picnic, a camera, or just your thoughts. You’ll leave feeling better than when you arrived.
