About

A symbol of greatness, an emblem of endless bravery and the will to live for one's own people and others - the "Liberator Soldier" monument stands above the world like a looming cloud, poised to take the next step but silently freezes in contemplation. A soldier, cast from simple metal, holding a child in his arms - this is a scream across invisible spaces and time, declaring that only a true human always remains themselves. Fascism has been destroyed, yet the monument still stands guard - a unique creation byuchetich. Thirteen meters of bronze, supported by a sword - Berlin remembers the soldier's heroic act of saving a German girl from demise. Initially, the figure was envisioned with a rifle, but at Stalin's request, it was replaced with a double-edged sword. The mound in Treptower Park, a trampled swastika, and a thousand terrifying deaths for the sake of one life - a sharp fragment of memory amidst the capital of Germany.
