Picasso Museum in Barcelona
About
The Picasso Museum is one of three museums entirely dedicated to the artist's creative journey, located in Barcelona, Paris, and Antibes. It is situated in an old mansion on Montcada Street.
The museum, with its impressive collection of over 3,800 works, came to life thanks to the initiative and efforts of the artist's secretary, Sabartes. The "assortment" of exhibited paintings includes early works from Picasso's school and student years, as well as the "Meninas" and "Doves" series, a collection of ceramics, and even printed graphics. The museum frequently hosts public lectures and events that are, in various ways, related to the genius's life path.
