About

The Kaleiçi Suna & İnan Kıraç Museum occupies two buildings located in the Old City, in the Kaleiçi district. The main goal of the museum is to highlight the culture and way of life of the Ottoman Turks who lived in Antalya centuries ago.

The first building is designed in a classic style that was popular during the times of the Ottoman sultans. Each room here stages a significant event, ranging from an ancient bachelorette party to a guest coffee treat. The second building is entirely dedicated to the Orthodox Church of St. George. The sanctuary has undergone one reconstruction, as indicated on the entrance plaque, written in Greek letters but in Turkish.

Antalya'ya her gidişimde uğramaya çalıştığım şirin müze. Zaten eski binalara hayranım. Bir de içinde müze olunca hayranlığım artıyor. Mutlaka görülmesi gereken bir yer.

It is a private museum so the museum passes do not apply but the entrance fee is only 60TL. Beautifully restored mid-19th century Greek church and Turkish house.
