Had a few beers here, good value for money but pub interior very tired and dark! Toilets clean on this visit too!

We found this pub about a year ago now and call in whenever we are staying in York. We love the place. No music, no kids, no dogs. If you want to watch sports or listen to loud music it's not for you. Perfect. The signs are on the way in telling you what isn't allowed so don't be upset if you are reminded by the staff. The drinks are reasonably priced. If you don't like it, turn around and go elsewhere.
