The Old White Swan has all the charm of a traditional British pub, and I loved the welcoming atmosphere from the moment I stepped inside. We ordered food, and the staff were attentive, happily accommodating our requests and dietary needs. Although pies seem to be their speciality, I didn’t try one myself; however, those at our table who did commented on how delicious they were. The service was friendly and efficient, with our meals arriving very quickly. We were visiting with a baby, and the team went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and I’d be more than happy to return the next time I’m in York.
