About

The Volksgarten is the oldest park in Vienna. It was opened in 1819. Originally, the park was intended for walks exclusively for the rich and famous citizens of Vienna. For them, picnics were regularly arranged there, accompanied by concerts by Johann Strauss. The main attraction of the park is its multitude of roses of various colors and shades. Today, the Volksgarten is popular among all residents of the city without exception. The youth are attracted by a nightclub located right there, families with children, and the elderly appreciate its beauty and coziness.

You need to visit. It’s a must. Make sure you visit around golden hours. The park is incredible around 6-9 pm (during summer)
