Located on the site of former hunting grounds, on the left bank of the Danube between the canal and the river, lies the Prater amusement park. At the end of the 1760s, a park was established in this area, where one could buy fresh pastries, enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee, and ride on carousels. However, the war years did not spare this place from destruction... A global restoration of the park was only possible in 1945.

But even today, one can discover what Prater was like many years ago by visiting the museum located in the planetarium building. The current park is divided into 2 zones: "Prater" and the "Green" zone. All the attractions are located in the first zone, where several cafés also operate.
