Erittäin vaikuttava muistomerkki. Mielenkiintoista myös se, että se on sijoitettu saksalaisten toisen maailmansodan sotilaiden hautausmaan kanssa samaan paikkaan. Vielä mielenkiintoisempaa on se, että vieressä on niin ikään toisessa maailmansodassa kaatuneiden neuvostosankareiden ylistykseksi tehty monumentti! Kommunismin uhrien muistomerkki kertoo karulla tavalla siitä terrorista ja ihmisarvojen loukkaamisesta, jonka kohteeksi veljeskansamme sodan jälkeen vuosikymmeniksi joutui. Jokainen voi sitten muistomerkkien äärellä miettiä, ketkä olivat hyviä, ketkä pahoja? Ikävä kyllä, näyttää siltä, että pahuus ei ole naapurista mihinkään poistunut, kun saamme lukea tapahtumista Ukrainassa.
