It's particularly popular for solo diners seeking a quick yet satisfying meal.

Offering breakfast, brunch, and lunch options, Vive La Tarte gleams with its range of handcrafted bread, pastries, and of course, its much-loved TACRO® - the innovative taco-croissant hybrid. Their sourdough and cheesecake have set a standard, being voted the best across the Bay Area. Ideal for enjoying desserts and coffee, the place also boasts quick service and is frequented by tourists.

While there are rave reviews about the nice staff and inviting atmosphere, some guests note the limited coffee options and the occasional inconsistency in product quality, particularly with the croissants. Despite this, Vive La Tarte's unique menu and reasonable prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person make it a must-visit for those in search of an innovative brunch experience. Whether you prefer to dine in, grab a takeaway, or relax with outdoor seating, Vive La Tarte caters to all, adding a bit of local flavor to your day.

Only stopped in for a quick coffee. Their black coffee is delicious and smooth. $4 for a 12 oz. Seems to have good seating for breakfast/lunch.

I got the key lime croissant and the orange blossom zatar croissant. The key lime croissant is filled with key lime curd and topped with meringue. The meringue was split, and I thought there was too much of it. I thought that there was also too much filling, and because it’s liquidy, it kept spilling out. I was unimpressed. The orange blossom croissant was better, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it.

We love coming here for breakfast and coffee. Staff is very nice and the atmosphere is cosy. The sourdough bread is also really nice. Side note, don’t sell tartes here
