Came in with high expectations for authentic fusion food but left with regret. I got the Cali Sisig chicken burrito ($~16) and the Señor sisig chicken burrito ($~16). For the price I expected a larger burrito. Although I didn’t have to wait long for the burritos, they were only slightly warm when I got them which disappointed me. Señor Sisig burrito: the better of the two burritos. The cilantro lime sauce seasoning added a complex flavor to the burrito. California Sisig Burrito: Made like a traditional California burrito with Sisig chicken. The fries were stale from being cooked a while ago and the burrito was too salty. Maybe next time I’ll try the tacos or burrito bowl, but I won’t be getting the burritos again.

Phenomenal spot for a delicious lunch or quick dinner! I stopped by Senor Sisig for a casual dinner before a concert in the Chase Center, and it was the perfect preamble to the show. The food is delicious -- it's hard to say no to Filipino-Mexican fusion -- and remarkably flavorful. They have a variety of spice levels, but even their mild options are packed with flavor (although I have to recommend getting at least a moderate spice level :)). The portions are quite generous, and I appreciate that they have a pretty expansive menu, encompassing burritos, tacos, rice bowls, fry / nacho bowls, and salads. I got their Sisig Salad with tofu, which was quite tasty -- it had a generous helping of fresh shredded lettuce topped with your choice of protein (tofu for me), shredded cheese, pico de gallo, diced peppers, and fried tortilla strips. The calamansi dressing was delicious and helped to bind the whole salad together, and the tofu was cooked well. I also got mine topped with a fried egg, which was a delightful addition -- the yolk was still quite runny, so it added an extra layer of creaminess and richness. Senor Sisig definitely specializes in meat offerings, but I appreciate how much effort went into making their vegetarian options tasty. They have a pretty large indoor / outdoor space, so there's ample seating, especially if you're willing to share one of the large group tables with a few other parties of concert-goers. The service was also remarkably efficient; there was a pretty long line of folks stopping for a quick bit before the concert, but we were able to order and get our food within ~15 minutes.

Definitely the only place you should eat before a Valks or Warriors game at Chase center. Best Cali Burritos ever
