Rich Table is great! I was sat at the bar (as a solo diner) and the bartenders were great in service and conversation. The hostess really stood out and made sure everyone was welcome and having a good time. It was nice to have a place where being a solo diner wasn't a drag for everyone there. I ended up getting the tasting menu (chef's choice). I would highly recommend it, especially as a solo diner. You basically get all the small bites they have to offer and every single one was terrific. Really interesting food in a meal that I will remember forever. I did feel that the momentum of the meal dropped a bit after all the small bites! The pasta and the fish dish were good, but not quite as standout. In fairness, I requested the fish instead of the steak that was offered in the menu. I highly recommend to everyone! It is a bit spendier than I prefer, but food/service was on par.

It’s our second time in three years at Rich Table and each time it’s been great. If we visited SF more often we’d be here more often. As others note the Porchini donuts are unique and amazing. Sardine crisps and beef dumplings are still in my head. We had about six apps and loved them followed by an amazing pork collar. Flavors are somehow subtle, multi tiered and just rich enough. The bartenders are great. Love this place.

Great place to try out. There are a variety of dishes, and the place has a NYC vibe. They have different menus for summer and winter. Amazing starters and mains.
