Perilla in Lower Haight is definitely catered to takeout and they have minimal seating. Service is quick and a well oiled machine. I always get garlic noodles with pork and the protein portion is huge.

This is the only pho restaurant I go to anymore – the best beef bone broth in the entire Bay Area. It’ll even turn to gelatin if you leave it in the fridge, showing how pure it is. The atmosphere is lackluster but the food more than makes up for it. My only complaint is that their chopsticks are bad, I recommend bringing your own.
