Oma Sushi is a good spot, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The fish was fresh — clean, bright, the way it should be. The wait staff, engaging and attentive, absolutely on point. But the rice, that’s where it fell down. It lacked bite, a bit flat, and I prefer it warm to carry the fish properly. Sushi is all about balance, and when the rice doesn’t shine, the whole dish suffers. A solid effort, but not quite there

This started as emergency late night nosh, but this place is an excellent value for the money. basically, no corners cut: the edamame with garlic was fresh, no signs of having come fresh from the freezer. Pretty sure this is real wasabi, not horseradish dyed green. Ginger not dyed pink and not cloyingly sweet. Sushi was fresh and well-prepared. We are in town for the hell of it, but even on a short trip, I would make a second trip here.

I had the dragon roll and cheesecake to go. absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend!!
