Maya Flor needs to stay around forever! I rarely write reviews, but this place slaps so hard I forced myself to make an exception. This is an incredible new Peruvian / Mexican inspired restaurant. I've now had the pleasure of trying both their brunch and dinner menus, and while both were excellent, dinner was truly something special. Their ceviche was vibrant, fresh, and bursting with authentic Peruvian flavors. Another standout is the paella. I don’t say this lightly, but it may be the best paella I’ve ever had (and I've been to Spain a couple times). Perfectly cooked rice, deeply flavorful, and just loaded with the kind of care and seasoning that assures you the chef knows what they're doing. On top of that, the service is warm, attentive, and genuine. The owners are incredibly kind and clearly passionate about what they’re creating here, which just adds to the charm and heart behind every dish. Maya Flor is a hidden gem, but it won't be hidden for long. Whether you’re a local or someone who appreciates great food and doesn’t mind making a bit of a trip, come here. Run, don’t walk. Selfishly, I hope this place thrives for years to come because I plan on eating here a lot. Long live Maya Flor!

It’s a nice location and patio but service was painfully slow, took an hour to get our food

Best kept secret in San Francisco. This Mexican (with some Peruvian influence) spot is the real deal, gourmet cuisine in an pleasant stylish setting in Nob Hill. Had an amazing brunch where everything on our plates was a taste sensation. Also, on weekends get the authentic Cafe Olla! I had the Huevos a la Mexicana and wife loved the Challah French Toast. Sat outside on a nice day with cable cars going by, and great service.
