Nice people and nice enough ambience, but the food not amazing

Our first visit here was a mixed experience. Service was a strong point. It was attentive and efficient from start to finish. The food, however, didn’t quite hit the mark. The salads were fine, but the main dishes and bread lacked distinction. Nothing was bad, just nothing memorable. One notable downside was the seating for two. In the main dining room, we were initially placed very close to neighboring tables. After asking for something more private we were placed along a busy walkway used by staff. It made private conversation difficult and didn’t feel ideal for a date night. On the positive side, while the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, it filled up quickly with families and larger groups. That’s usually a good sign. I’d say it’s worth trying if you’re in a group of three or more, but it's probably not my pick for a more intimate meal for two
