I came here after reading glowing reviews online and tried a pepperoni slice as well as a clam & garlic slice. To be honest, I don’t get the hype. I was definitely intrigued by the idea of a clam & garlic slice since I love both of those ingredients but it wasn’t all that good, 3/5 at best. Pepperoni was a solid 4/5. I waited in line for 15-20 mins then another 20 mins or so to receive my order, which I don’t necessarily have a problem with, but I do when the product of my wait doesn’t line up with the expectations. If you’re a local, sure give it a try and support a local business, but if you’re visiting from out of town with a limited number of places that you can visit, I’d leave the pizza to other cities and focus on the things that SF does best.

Got a slice of each flavor which was awesome that they had a per slice option at this location. The sausage, pepperoni, and combo were best. The bread and toppings were good but some of the flavor combos weren't the best imo. The clam and garlic I hear has a cult following but as someone who enjoys but isn't diehard for seafood I wouldn't get it again. It's edible but garlic and other meat choice would have made a better choice. The pesto we could barely taste any pesto. The pesto and combo and a few interesting toppings like zucchini also. All of them felt light on the cheese (especially the cheese pizza). Line was quite long, it took about 30+ min to order and another 10-15 min to get the pizza. Overall it was good pizza and I'd get it again but I would call ahead and I'd get the sausage pizza or choose your own toppings to get what you like. A sausage olive garlic pepperoni would have been killer.
