Chavitas is one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in the mission district. Their daily specials don’t miss. Hand made tortillas for each meal. 😍 Chilaquiles & chicharrón en salsa verde for the win.

This place is nothing fancy, but the food is good and the people running it are super friendly. The portions are very generous and your order is always accompanied by fresh home made tortillas(a whole stack). I havent tried too many items from the menu aside from their Mexican style breakfasts but the chicken milanese is pretty good. The prices are very fair.
