Food was good, but I didn’t receive any napkins in my bag. The little things definitely matter to me, but besides that I don’t have anything bad to say.

Unfortunately it looks like this location is closed I’ll very and report back asap. 😭 DeClucks Chicken Sandooooooo so good!: A Culinary Masterpiece in the Heart of the City As a self-proclaimed foodie with a penchant for cooking, my forays into the dining scene are reserved for places that promise something beyond my kitchen’s capabilities. Value and visual appeal dictate my choices, and on this culinary quest, I found myself steps away from home at the much-acclaimed local gem, Delancey Street’s chicken Sando haven. A welcome new addition to the neighborhood, the buzz around their iconic Sando, with its claw-foot presentation, finally lured me in. Lauded by “Locslish,” SF Chronicle, ABC7, Fodors Travel Guide, and Restaurant Business Magazine, my expectations were sky-high. Deciding was tough, but the DeClucks - Classic Yeast at $16.00 called my name. A masterpiece melding the best of a fried chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger into one delectable ensemble. Nestled within a potato bun, the fried chicken came alive with crisped melty cheese, fresh tomato, red leaf lettuce, tangy kraut, and a zippy mustard sauce that danced on my palate. Opting for the combo with fries and a ginger ale soda, I was set for a feast. Total price $26 w/ tax+tip This wasn’t just any chicken sandwich; it was possibly the best the City has to offer. Perfectly battered with a harmonious balance of thickness and crisp, the flavors were robust, complemented by a hefty, natural chicken piece. The addition of the zippy mustard sauce was a stroke of genius. The waffle/cross-cut fries didn’t lag behind, seasoned to perfection, though the chicken and fries could have been much warmer and would’ve made it even better. There is no excuse to not have piping hot food served especially given the quiet the place was. Despite its popularity on delivery apps like Caviar, the physical space on a Friday night was surprisingly serene, bathed in soft lighting with an earth-toned, wood-themed décor. Immaculately clean and organized, the only interruption was the classic rock tunes playing at a comfortable yet conversation-challenging 79 decibels. Delancey Street’s offering is not just a meal; it’s an experience, a delightful surprise that tickles the taste buds and leaves you yearning for more. I’m eagerly anticipating my next visit, ready to dive deeper into their menu. For fellow foodies seeking culinary adventures that look as good as they taste, this spot is a must-try. Your palate and Instagram will thank you. I’ll be back! The second time I decided to order from home. This time got the bird box 1/4 chicken which I’m excited to try. The only other suggestion is that I wanted to tip in person so I zeroed out my tip as it was for pick up. I kinda old school and believe tips are performance based and not mandatory or should be expected no matter what service is given. Anyway their square site system too 20% even though I put 0% as I was bringing cash with me. My only recourse now ...
