Dropped in for a chai and a light snack. The chai was out of this world, but the paani poori has hardly any stuffing in it. No frills - no Sev, no veggies but only a soggy soaked peas that we use for other recipes! Oh yes, only one chutney! Of course, the end result was a huge bill. The restroom was spotless, but had no soap for handwashing!

Besharam was such a wonderful find! The food was absolutely delicious—light, healthy, and full of flavor. We started with the mango salad, which had a beautiful balance of crisp texture and freshness. The dal soup with samosas and crispy noodles was another standout—comforting, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The ambience was also lovely. The space felt open, airy, and light, with just the right amount of warmth to make it feel cozy and inviting. The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and thoughtful throughout our meal. I would absolutely come back here. In fact, I think Besharam easily beats some of the more central and pricey Indian restaurants in San Francisco. A real gem.
