3 of us clebrated a milestone birthday here recently. We had been to Saison previously but this was our first visit to Angler. We had the Cook for You Chef curated dinner. Jay was great in helping us pick out a bottle of wine for the dinner. Enjoyed all of it. I especially liked the "embered" cocktail sauce served with the oysters. What a surprise. The Wagyu Rib eye steak was divine! And servied with Parker House rolls and potato, just classic but elevated. I can't fault a single thing.

Angler is the perfect location to celebrate your 🎂 birthday with a delicious dinner and end the evening with a soft serve sundae. The service was phenomenal, the food was flavorsome, and the views were magical. It all felt like a scene from a movie.

Angler is consistently excellent and has become one of our go-tos for a reliable fine dining experience in SF. Our favorite dishes include the frog legs, embered oysters, parker house rolls, angler potato, hand-dived scallops (unbelievable), and the sea bream. And the sundae is a perfect end to the meal every time! They have a very extensive wine list, if that's your thing. Service is warm and professional, and the restaurant's vibes are elevated but cozy. Being able to see the open kitchen is a huge plus—the live fire cooking is visual and striking.
