About
Nestled in the historic core of Rome, the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Roma is a testament to architectural brilliance by Tullio Dell'Anese and Annibale Vitellozzi, and has been serving the public since March 14, 1876. This grand library is not just a repository of knowledge but also an attraction in itself.
Here, visitors can sign up for a personalized card, allowing the borrowing of up to two books each month and the consultation of three books each day. The library also offers advanced scanning services, enabling users to scan 15% of the pages of in-print books and 100% of out-of-print books.
The library is equipped with extensive reading spaces, friendly staff, clean restrooms, a dining service, lockers, well-lit workstations with power outlets, free Wi-Fi, a coffee shop, and conference and lecture rooms. Access is granted through a free membership card that can be easily obtained at the entrance, with annual renewals at no charge and a nominal fee for any replacements.

Una vera palestra della cultura umana! Ben organizzata e personale dipendente sempre attento e disponibile!

There is a small museum inside library.
