About

Nestled in the heart of Rome's Ludovisi district, just a stone's throw from the American Embassy on Via Veneto, the Museo Boncompagni Ludovisi is a delightful blend of art and fashion. Since its opening in 1995, this Art Nouveau jewel has captivated visitors with its rich collection of artworks, stylish garments, and elegant decor spread across two floors in a historic palazzo.

The museum proudly showcases masterpieces from artists like Balla and De Chirico and fashion pieces from iconic designers such as Valentino and Sarli. Notable highlights include the stunning Cambellotti stained glass window and sartorial creations from the 1960s. A recent exhibit features exquisite ceramics from Pratica di Mare, curated from the Borghese princely collection.

Entry is reasonably priced at €6 for adults, and reduced to €2 for young people aged 18-25. Visitors can also enjoy free admission on the first Sunday of every month. With its blend of history, art, and fashion, the Museo Boncompagni Ludovisi offers an intimate and enriching experience for all who pass through its doors.

Un piccolo museo purtroppo poco conosciuto dai Romani che ospita piccoli capolavori di Balla, Cambellotti e Chini e una splendida mostra stabile di abiti tra cui quelli di Palma Bucarelli
