About

The International Vodka Museum came to life thanks to the efforts of two friends who decided to gather the largest collection of vodka from all around the world in one place. Whether this idea came to them during a gathering and moderate drinking, or it struck them in their sleep remains unknown, but the museum has become one of the most popular spots in Riga.

Every visitor at the entrance to the International Vodka Museum is greeted by a brave American soldier, or rather, a life-size caricature sculpture of one. "The Golden Ring", "Smirnoff", "Belomorkanal", as well as figurines of Ivan the Terrible, matryoshka dolls, Olympic bears, and the Tsar Cannon - one could spend hours looking at the numerous exhibits, all the while restraining themselves from tasting. Interestingly, some of the bottles are indeed empty, which in no way diminishes their historical significance for collectors.
