About

In the Prague Public Transport Museum, you can trace the century-long history of its development. There is a particular abundance of trams here - a mode of transport the Czechs are especially proud of. Visitors will be able to see a horse-drawn tram as well as the first self-propelled tram. However, it's not possible to enter all the exhibits - most are protected by barriers. You can only climb onto the step and look inside. There's also a "mayor's tram," which even takes to the streets of Prague once a year. Besides this rail transport, you can see fire engines, buses (including the famous Ikarus), and vehicles of other city services. Interestingly, all the transport available is still operational. The museum is open from August to November, accessible on the weekends, and group tours can be arranged for any day of the week.
