On the whole I would definitely recommend Scarlett and don't let some of the negatives put you off. It is a relaxed setting with a good ambience - although the service was a little haphazard and annoying. The pappardelle ragout was flavourful and filling. The couvert was ok but lacked enough olive oil / butter for the quantity of bread. The red berries crumble was amazing in the texture of the crumble and the mixed fruity, spicy tastes of the filling - it lacked an accompaniment though (ice cream / custard) and came across a little 'dry. So a work in progress - is the restaurant quite new ?!?
