It was our first dinner on our first trip ever to Portugal and I think we couldn‘t have chosen a better restaurant to kick off our vacation! The owner of the restaurant is super nice and it was also possible to communicate in English. The food is authentic Portuguese. It is also quite rustic but delicious. As starters we had fried cod, which is a MUST for 1€(!!!) and as our main dishes we had pork cheeks with chestnuts and a cod stew, which were also great and very affordable. We would recommend this place to everyone, who wants to experience authentic food with super nice service and at a great price point.
