My wife and I had a late lunch there today. I had the leitão plate and my wife had a sandwich. Both were delicious. The leitão was as good as I have ever had. Sr. Rui, the owner, provided outstanding service. We struck up a conversation with a lady who was also having lunch. She told us she was a local who lived just down the street and this was her favorite place for leitão. It is a little bit out of the way, but if you take Bus 500, from São Bento, in the direction of Matosinhos Sul, and get off at Bicalho, you just have to walk a few steps to the restaurant. It's well worth it!

Only popped here on a Monday after doing the bridge climb as there were no other places open . However the food here was absolutely fantastic, probably the best I actually had in Porto. It was fresh, warm, and full of flavor. Not only this but the owners are extremely nice and welcoming.

Best Leitão I had in Porto! Low key atmosphere by the river. Owner was very helpful and everything was delicious!
