About

The Verdi Opera House rightfully carries the title of the most beautiful theater in all of Central Italy since 1867. The façade of the building is adorned with semi-circular stone alcoves and mosaic windows, separated by slender columns. The top is decorated with a triangular "cap," towering over the entire structure.

The interior of Verdi at first glance reminds one of Florence and its architecture. The dome is decorated with lush Romanesque painting, and from it descend five levels of audience boxes. The theater always gathers full houses, and not only avid opera fans attend. Verdi has a special atmosphere that magnetically draws tourists, offering a soulful rest within the ancient walls of this cradle of art.
