About

Between PontedellaFortezza and Vittoria, hidden behind the greenery of tree canopies, lies the Citadella Nuova, or as it's more commonly known, the Scotto Garden. Once a fortress that held the power of the Florentines, time has taken its toll, and the stone walls have partially crumbled, making way for new ideas and new life. Today, between the "fragments" of what was once a majestic citadel, a broad park with a landscaped garden has been established, proudly bearing the name "Scotto". The garden is planted with a variety of vegetation, attracting a huge number of tourists who love to stroll among the ruins, immersing themselves in their thoughts from time to time.

The Scotto Garden also serves as a venue for city exhibitions, theatrical productions, concerts, and even outdoor film showings.

Gut zum Pause machen und mit Kinderspielplatz, sehr ruhig, aber Arno ist vom Park aus durch die Festungsmauer getrennt und nicht zu sehen.
