Along the coastline of Pisa and Lucca stretches the territory of the unique park "Migliarino, San Rossore, and Massaciuccoli." Under the same open sky here coexist various animals and plants, sand dunes, marshes, and green forests.

Exploring every nook and cranny of the park "Migliarino, San Rossore, and Massaciuccoli" would take more than just a few days, or even weeks. Of special interest is the two-meter deep Lake Massaciuccoli, near which the composer Puccini lived, as well as the ruins of the Baths of Nero. San Rossore features a vast landscape with thousands of inhabitants: wild boars, deer, curlews, and ducks. The park also includes a modern visitor center.
