About

Parc Monceau has been around for almost three centuries. For a long time, the owner of the park, the Duke of Orleans, simply combined the purchased plots of land, and then hired Carmontelle to landscape them. After that, it was the turn of the landscape artist. In the middle of the 19th century, the park was bought out and partially built upon. The remaining section was opened to the public. Now, it's a beautiful green park in the English style. Here, picnics are often organized, and it's a popular spot for lovers and children to stroll.
