🏰 Un angolo medievale nel cuore di Parigi. La Tour Jean sans Peur è una torre gotica costruita all'inizio del XV secolo da Giovanni Senza Paura, duca di Borgogna, dopo aver ordinato l’assassinio del duca d’Orléans. È ciò che resta dell’antico palazzo dei duchi di Borgogna, e anche solo da fuori colpisce per la sua imponenza e il contrasto con gli edifici moderni. Purtroppo non ho avuto tempo per visitarla all’interno, ma ho scoperto che è aperta dal mercoledì alla domenica, dalle 13:30 alle 18:00. Il biglietto costa 6 € (ridotto 4 €). Se amate la storia, vale la pena fermarsi anche solo per ammirarla dalla strada.

Édifiée vers 1409, la Tour Jean Sans Peur est le dernier vestige du palais des ducs de Bourgogne à Paris. Haute de 27 m, elle témoigne de l’architecture militaire médiévale, avec son escalier à vis et son étonnant plafond sculpté de feuilles de chêne, de vigne et de houx. Anecdote : Jean sans Peur fit construire cette tour par peur d’être assassiné après avoir lui-même commandité le meurtre du duc d’Orléans. Ironie du sort : il sera tué quelques années plus tard sur un pont de Montereau…

Mooi, maar slechts een paar dagen per week toegankelijk
