Montparnasse Tower in Paris
About
From its very first days, the Montparnasse Tower was met with both negative and positive reactions. The construction of a building standing 210 meters tall left no Parisian indifferent. The problem was that the foundation of Montparnasse was laid in the historical part of the city, and it was the only case in the history of France's capital of such construction. However, despite the scandalous beginning, the tower soon gained a multitude of fans thanks to the view that opened up to visitors from the observation deck located on the 57th floor.

Great view. Building feels very rundown

From the outside, the Tour Montparnasse isn't particularly inviting, but the view from the top is absolutely stunning and well worth the visit. It's a bit confusing that payment is only taken once you reach the top, especially given the large number of staff present. The entrance could be made more welcoming—cleaner windows and a more thoughtfully designed entry area would make a big difference.

Très belle expérience mais un peu chet
