Mario hat eine tolle Historie und ist weiter im Familienbesitz. Wie man an der Bewertung sieht, mag ich es dort. Kellner sind witzig, das Ambiente innen ist ein bisschen retro, der Innenhof in Richtung Amalien Passage megaschön. Zum Essen meine vielleicht etwas überraschende Beobachtung und Meinung: Mario hat die Pizza nach München gebracht. Das Restaurant steht auch ein bisschen für Pizze, die sehr groß sind. Ich persönlich denke aber, dass alle klassischen zweiten Hauptgänge dort inzwischen um ein vielfaches besser sind. Sowohl Fleisch als auch die Fischgänge, die in aller Regel exzellent sind. Wir hatten letzte Woche die Dorade in Kartoffelmantel auf Spinat - top! Auch das Mittagsmenü (an dem Tag mit Lachs) war sehr gut. Salate waren sehr ordentlich. Deshalb: belohnt Euch und wagt Euch an die klassischen Secondi Piatti. Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen :)

Pizza ist lecker, es wäre aber sehr praktisch wenn man grade die To-Go Pizzen richtig schneiden würde, das ist glaube ich den Aufwand wert. Meine Pizza war leider nicht mit Händen zu essen und so hab ich sie dann halt zuhause kalt essen müssen, sehr schade!
