Wer in den Genuss von gutem türkischem Essen kommen will, muss hier zwingend ein sog. Kumpir probieren. Das Gericht, das als Grundlage eine Kartoffel hat und mit vielfältigen Toppings (Cremes, Salate ua) ausgestattet ist, die sich in den Einzelheiten unterscheiden, je nachdem, welche Variante man bestellt, zeigt die türkische Kochkunst von seiner besten Seite. Die verschiedenen Bestandteile des Gerichts erzeugen kumulativ eine regelrechte Geschmacksexplosion im Mund, von der man vorher gar nicht wusste, dass sie möglich ist. Zudem wirken die Zutaten sowie das Gericht im Ganzen sehr frisch, was ebenfalls hoch anzurechnen ist. Der Service ist nett. Die Wartezeit ist auch zu Stoßzeiten mehr als angemessen. Wer Döner isst, der schwimmt vielleicht auf der Oberfläche und sieht vielleicht mal ein paar Korallen der mediterranen Küche aus dem Wasser ragen. Wer aber unter Wasser in die Tiefen der türkischen Küche tauchen und deren volles Potential ausschöpfen will, wird nicht drum herum kommen, ein Kumpir zu probieren, wie es bei Kara Kazan angeboten wird. Der einzig schwache Punkt: Der Preis. Die 14,9€ für die Variante mit Rindfleisch erscheint mir als ein wenig hoch angesetzt, auch wenn das Gericht satt macht. Das Standard vegetarische Kumpir kostet hingegen 10,9€. Ich werde dennoch wiederkommen.

Es gibt leckere Kartoffeln mit Toppings (nichts anderes). Das Personal ist manchmal recht langsam, Sitzplätze sind begrenzt.
