Truly one of the most standout, unique experiences of my visit to Mexico City. I haven't previously experienced the Cochinita Pibil Yucatec-Mayan style of tacos before, so I legitimately wasn't sure what to expect, as it isn't necessarily the most visually pleasing dish. Upon being presented with it, however, I found myself drawn to the aroma wafting off of it. This aroma only grew in pleasurability upon biting into it, with waves of rich flavors, textures, and slight heat that doesn't overwhelm it. I honestly found myself incredibly impressed by just how silky smooth this slow-roasted pork truly is. The space itself is small but cozy with some indoor and outdoor tables and appears to be family fun - I loved how they clearly put so much attention and care into each food item they prepare. Everyone here was very friendly and had all of our tacos out in no time at all. This is an amazing spot and you should definitely stop by while in the area.
