About

The restaurant Botín is considered the oldest establishment of its kind in the world. Not too long ago, this restaurant with an unpretentious sign and a modest name celebrated its three-hundredth anniversary, earning it a place in the Guinness Book of Records.

It's said that Hemingway himself once had breakfast at Botín and wrote "The Old Man and the Sea" there, while Goya worked as a waiter and, during breaks between orders, tried to paint his self-portrait somewhere in the back room. Whether this is true or just an impressive myth is unknown, but there's no doubt about the age of the establishment - it really is over three hundred years old. People come here to enjoy coffee with a dessert from the chef or to eat a three-week-old suckling pig prepared in an ancient oven that has never gone out since the eighteenth century.

非常老牌的餐厅,必点烤乳猪和烤鸡,不过烤鸡还是有点老,吃起来口感稀烂,砂锅鳕鱼也是不错的选择,如果四个人点这些菜完全够了,分量太大不建议点太多主菜
