I cannot recommend Yemen Restaurant highly enough. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt the warmth of Yemeni hospitality — genuine, welcoming, and full of heart. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and their kindness truly elevates the entire experience. But the real star is, of course, the food. After years of searching in London, I can finally say I have found true, authentic Yemeni cuisine that captures the exact flavors of home. Every dish is prepared with care, bursting with the richness of Yemeni spices, aromas, and traditions. The lamb haneeth melts in your mouth, the mandi rice is perfectly fragrant and flavorful, and the fresh bread is unlike anything else you will find in the city. This isn’t just good food — it’s a genuine taste of Yemen, something I never thought I would find here in London. The balance of flavors, the attention to detail, and the generous portions all reflect the authenticity and soul of Yemeni cooking. It reminded me of family gatherings, celebrations, and the essence of Yemeni culture brought to life through food. In every way — from the warm hospitality, to the beautiful setting, to the unforgettable flavors — Yemen Restaurant delivers an experience that is second to none. It’s not just a restaurant, it’s a piece of Yemen in London. I finally, finally found the taste I’ve been missing, and I can honestly say: this is the most authentic Yemeni food London has ever seen.

The rice was fragrant with just the right touch of saffron and spice, perfectly balanced—not overly greasy or dry like you sometimes find elsewhere. the lamb. It was flame-grilled to a beautiful char, with meat falling off the bone. The accompanying broth was light and comforting. the fahsa served bubbling hot in a traditional stone bowl was the true showstopper, inside were chunks of slow-cooked meat swimming in a rich, spiced stew. Every bite carried the warmth of Yemeni home cooking. What I really appreciated was the attention to detail epecially mandi and the fahsa, this place will convert you in one sitting. It’s humble, hearty, and deeply satisfying. Skip the fancy spots—go here instead.
