Drink local and support your independently-owned local pub! Screw the big corporate pub chain “kings” that have homogenized a British cultural institution. And I’m just a foreigner visiting England for the week. I dunno, maybe laws should be more friendly towards smaller businesses of character? Staff is super friendly, food is very good. How I will miss a “proper” cask ale, nary to be found at home! 🫡
